As some of you know, we came home from Jersey to find that someone tried to break into our apartment again. The first time was almost two years ago and they nabbed close to $10,000 worth of stuff. We’re still not whole from that, and still paying stuff off that had to be replaced.Luckily they didn’t get in this time, but they were pretty close. I had to kick the door 5 or 6 times to get in. It has been 13 days since we came home to this, and our door still has not been replaced. They replaced the deadbolt that night, and we can lock the door when we leave, but it’s not 100% to where it was before we left for New Jersey.

We’ve been looking for a new house or apartment ever since. We found some crap, really. Like disgusting crap that we don’t know how we got ourselves at these places to look at them. Look here to see some “custom” cabinets at a fourplex that I can only imagine that only immigrants will live in.
There was one house that was really nice, the owner was very sweet, but the house needed too much work that the lady didn’t really want to do, so we passed on it. Once we started to find some things that we liked, and were actually livable, our apartment management said they wouldn’t let us out of our lease early without penalty. So that has put a stop to our house hunting.
Also, guess who we can’t get in touch with? The management. Big shock. So we really don’t know where we stand.If we do go look at more which I doubt, I think I should bring my video camera.
Maybe we could get a reality show on HGTV. Ali would DIE.
