My girlfriend Ali would always roll her eyes whenever I played “Dominic the Christmas Donkey” song at Christmas time. The song annoys her to no end, which may be why I love it so much.
She thought the idea of an Italian donkey who helped Santa climb the Italian Alps was ridiculous. But what is even more ridiculous is that she thought it was perfectly fine and dandy for Santa to have a crew of alligators to help him navigate the swamps, marshes and bayous of Louisiana.
She told me of the story, but I never actually heard the whole story from front to back. But once I had, I knew I had to make a video of it. I hope you enjoy it at least half as much as I do.
