This morning I turn on my computer, and my MLB widget informs me that the Yankees are playing at noon. Awesome! I can watch my first spring training on the YES network.
See, when Ali and I wanted to dump Comcast, our only option was satellite, even though that wasn’t really an option. Our apartment faces the wrong way for a dish, and really, it rains too much here so that means outages, and we can’t have that. Then one day an AT&T rep came knocking on our door. “Step right up,” he says, “We’re offering fiber optics.” “It’s the future,” I tell Ali. We come to find out for a measly $10 more a month we could get so much more than what Comcast offered us. PLUS, the YES Network to watch Yankee games without having to buy a $300 MLB package on top of the normal cable bill.
Cut to today, I pop the TV on, go to YES, and the game is blacked out. FAIL. I called AT&T and they said it was network issues, and should be back and running in a day or two. It better be, because if I can’t watch any Yankee games this season I am going to be really pissed. This was a huge bonus in us switching over.
In other news, I got Ali’s blog up and running at http://www.tiaraclink.com http://www.southerndivasecrets.com. Go check it out.
We’re also doing a lot of cleaning and packing for our move in 13 days. Well, not really. We’re being lazy and stupid by not doing more. We’re making a little progress, though.
They all suck.
Ima go nine kinds of apeshit on those motherfuckers.
